Experience and Ongoing Training

We have nearly four decades of experience consulting and handling a variety of demolition, installation and maintenance projects. But past experience alone is not the final word; ongoing, standardized training is a must for any serious contractor in the flooring industry. All of our flooring technicians are INSTALL certified or undergo training by IICRC. In addition to industry training, all of our installers are trained in CPR and first aid, as well as regular OSHA refreshers.

Ongoing training is a given for the highly skilled FSI team.

Flooring Services Inc. is committed to continuous training on products, techniques, and environmental practices. Safer, more cost-effective practices require constantly evolving methods. FSI team members are certified by many top flooring manufacturers, as well as by specialty manufacturers like Koester (for moisture control and remdiation) and nora (for rubber flooring).

We have also taken in-depth coursework on flooring for the healthcare industry. In fact, our installers completed a voluntary specialty course on healthcare construction. They are trained in infection-control risk-assessment procedures and other healthcare-specific worksite best practices.

Our president Bruce Reeve is a FCICA Board Member and co–chair of the FCICA education committee, actively steering changes to improve education and training in the industry. He is also a certified LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and is an active USGBC member. He loves being on the forefront of change.

“It was fun working with [FSI]. They were awesome and did whatever was asked of them without any problems. The lead installer was top notch and I would like to see him on more of my carpet jobs. His crew was fun and very efficient with their work. It was a great partnership. If at all possible wed like to use them on the next store as well.”
